The naturemade
quality mark certifies energy from 100% renewable sources such as water,
sun, biomass and wind. Certification covers both the production and the
supply of electricity, heating/cooling and fuels. The naturemade
label exists in two quality grades, both of which underpin the support
model:

electricity, heating/cooling and fuels from renewable sources.

indicates energy produced
with special respect for the environment. As with naturemade
basic, this energy comes from 100% renewable sources and
guarantees compliance with further, stricter and more comprehensive
ecological requirements. |
When naturemade star electricity comes from hydroelectric power plants
(> 100 kW) and from wastewater purification plants (> 50 000 per
capita values), the 
Fund for Ecological Improvements
finances
additional ecological upgrading around the plants.
